Announcement: Julia Casas, our Children’s Librarian is leaving PV for another opportunity in Santa Monica. Her last day will be on 5/18 and will be hosting her final Story Time next Monday, 5/16. She will be missed. Story Time should be continuing

Bibi Priyash, an education specialist, will be discussing how to help your child do their best in school. She will offer a presentation and will take any questions you might have about your child’s academic progress so far.

Celebrate Asian-American Pacific Islander Heritage Month at Playa Vista Branch! We will provide snacks to try from different parts of Asia–from the traditional to the new & trendy. Come in and vote for your favorite.
– All about Mummies (Mon, 5/23 @ 4p)
Age 6-12
Learn about how mummies are made! Award winning author, Tamara Bower, will be here to discuss her work studying Egyptian mummies. She will have samples of some of the non-toxic materials used in the mummy making process and will show kids how to draw and decorate an ancient Egyptian sarcophagus.
