West Basin’s Water Harvest Festival 2017
Saturday, October 14th is West Basin Municipal Water District’s annual Water Harvest Festival 2017 in El Segundo.
The fair will be held at the water supplier’s Edward Little Water Recycling Facility and offer carnival games, stage shows, kids costume contest, reptile petting zoo, tours of the plant and information on water-conservation measures.

Time: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Free off-site parking and shuttle service will be offered at 1960 E. Grand Ave. (off Sepulveda Boulevard). Shuttles will run from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Anyone wanting to tour the facility must be at least 7 years old and should wear closed-toe shoes. The plant treats wastewater that is later shipped to local refineries and also used to irrigate landscaping and recharge the groundwater supplies.
